Advertising terms
This is a translation of the Dutch advertising terms, provided for your convenience. If the two versions differ, the Dutch text prevails. You can read it by choosing NL in the language menu.

1. About these terms
These terms apply to every request, proposal and campaign for advertising on De Bromfietsbeurs. They supplement our terms and conditions; if they differ, these advertising terms prevail. De Bromfietsbeurs is run by R. van Milligen in Spakenburg (the Netherlands) and can be reached at info@debromfietsbeurs.nl. The advertiser's own terms do not apply unless we agree so in writing.
2. Definitions
- Partner: the business, club or person advertising with us.
- Placement: a fixed ad placement on the site or in our email, as described on the partner page.
- Campaign: a partner's advertising on one or more placements, for an agreed run.
- Material: everything the partner supplies: image, video, logo, text and the link to its own website.
3. Request, proposal and agreement
- You can see the placements and prices on the partner page with a personal access code. Those prices and the calculator are an indication; no rights can be derived from them.
- After your request you receive a proposal by email. The proposal is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise.
- The agreement is concluded as soon as you accept the proposal by email. A placement is only reserved for you after payment (article 4).
- We may refuse a request without giving a reason, for example if the advertising does not fit a safe and reliable marketplace.
4. Prices and payment
- We work with fixed prices per week per placement, without discounts, auctions or pay per click. A longer run has a weekly surcharge, and video costs extra; both are stated in the proposal.
- All prices exclude VAT, as soon as we are required to charge VAT.
- You receive the invoice in advance. Pay within 14 days of the invoice date and in any case before the start date. If payment has not been made by the start date, the campaign does not start and we may give the placement to someone else.
- Prices may change; for an accepted proposal the agreed price remains in force.
5. Run and renewal
- A campaign runs for at least 1 week and at most 26 weeks (six months) per booking.
- You can renew after the end of the run if the placement is still available. You have no priority on a placement after your run, not even on an exclusive placement, so that other partners also get a chance.
- A campaign is never renewed automatically.
6. Placement and rotation
- A rotating placement has a few partners, which the site alternates at random on every visit. On an exclusive placement you are the only partner.
- Your ad belongs to a placement, not to a person: we do not show ads based on profiles and do not track visitors.
- We do not guarantee any number of impressions, clicks or sales. How many people see your ad depends on the number of visitors and the device they use (some placements only appear on wide screens).
- We may change the site. If this changes the shape or position of a placement, we will provide an equivalent placement.
7. Material
- You supply the material no later than 3 working days before the start date, in the formats on the partner page. No banner? Choose a text card; the site builds it itself from your logo, headline and a short sentence.
- We do not design advertising for you. If the material is late or incorrect, the campaign may start later; the end date and the price stay the same.
- You declare that you hold all rights to the material (photos, logos, brand names, people shown) and that it does not infringe the law or the rights of others. If anyone holds us liable for this, you will indemnify us.
- You allow us to show the material on the site and in our email during the run, and to resize or crop it for that purpose.
- Want a different image during the run? Send it to us; we usually put it online within one working day.
8. What is not allowed
We do not place advertising that:
- is misleading, or promises something that cannot be delivered;
- offers stolen or illegal goods, or helps to tune vehicles beyond what the law allows;
- concerns gambling, weapons, drugs, tobacco or vaping, adult content, or political or religious messages;
- discriminates, offends or incites hatred;
- links to a website with malicious software or that misleads visitors;
- promotes another marketplace for two-wheelers;
- breaches the Dutch Advertising Code (Nederlandse Reclame Code).
We review all advertising beforehand. We may refuse material, and take a campaign offline immediately if it (later) breaches these terms, for example if the website behind the link changes. In that case we refund nothing.
9. Recognisable as advertising
Advertising on the site is always clearly marked with the label "Advertisement" or "Sponsored". Links to your website carry the technical marking that search engines require for paid links.
10. Statistics and privacy
- In your partner dashboard you see per day how often your ad was shown and clicked. An impression counts when at least half of the ad is visible for one second, once per visit; bots are not counted. The figures are a best possible count, not an audited measurement.
- We only count numbers, without personal data, and do not pass any visitor data to partners. More in our privacy statement.
- Keep the login details of your partner dashboard secret.
11. Cancellation
- Up to 7 days before the start date you can cancel a campaign free of charge; you get everything back.
- After that, until the start date, you pay half of the campaign.
- After the start you can stop, but we refund nothing.
- Cancel by email to info@debromfietsbeurs.nl.
12. Outages
If your ad is not shown for more than 24 consecutive hours because of an outage on our side, we extend your campaign by the same time. If that is not possible, we refund that part proportionally. Short outages and maintenance give no right to extension or refund.
13. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the campaign concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost turnover or profit, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.
14. Changes and applicable law
We may change these terms; for a running campaign the terms remain as they were when you accepted the proposal. These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, the court in the district of Midden-Nederland (the Netherlands) has jurisdiction. The Dutch text prevails.
