How it started
My love of mopeds began when I was fourteen. At that age I bought my very first moped of my own: a 1963 Zündapp 515 Super Combinette, in bright sky blue. Together with my father I took it completely apart in his garage and rebuilt it, bolt by bolt, until it was as good as new. Those hours of tinkering together in the garage laid the foundation for everything that came after.
Next came a Zündapp 423 Combinette, which I restored to show condition. And the love never went away. It only grew broader: from the tough classics of Harley-Davidson and Triumph to the indestructible charm of a Vespa.
Why De Bromfietsbeurs?
Anyone who has ever done up a moped or motorcycle knows the problem. You are looking for that one part: an original exhaust, the right carburettor, a tank in the right colour. On the big general marketplaces it gets lost among thousands of other listings. The filters don't know the difference between a year of manufacture and a frame number, and searching for a brand turns up everything except what you are looking for.
The same goes for the mopeds and motorcycles themselves. A beautiful classic or a restoration project is hard to find if you can't filter properly by make, model, year or distance. A place made especially for two-wheelers simply didn't exist.
That is why De Bromfietsbeurs was started: a marketplace that is all about mopeds, scooters, motorcycles and everything that goes with them. Focused, clear, and made by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts.
What we do differently
Two-wheelers only
Mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, parts, accessories and restoration projects. Nothing else, so you won't be searching between washing machines and prams.
Filters that matter
Search by make, model, year, engine size, mileage and distance. And save a search: when something new comes along that matches, you'll see it straight away.
