You can view and search listings without an account. To post a listing, send messages, bid, save favourites and saved searches, you need a free account.
Click Log in at the top and then 'Create one for free'. Enter your name, email address and a password. You will receive an email to confirm your account; after that you can get started right away.
Create an account →Also check your junk mail (spam) folder; the email comes from info@debromfietsbeurs.nl. Still nothing after fifteen minutes? Contact us and we will help you.
Contact →On the login page, click 'Forgot your password?' and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a link to choose a new password. The link works once and is only valid for a short time.
Forgot your password →Go to My account and change your details in the Profile section. Among other things, we use your town for the weather on your account.
With two-step verification, after your password the site asks for a 6-digit code from an app on your phone, such as Apple Passwords, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. That way nobody can get in with just your password. Turn it on via My account → Login and security.
Set up two-step verification →Contact us via the contact page, using the email address of your account. We will then help you log in again and set up the codes again.
Contact →Go to My account → Login and security → Delete account. You will first receive an email to confirm it. After that your account, listings, photos, messages, bids and favourites are permanently erased.
Use the search bar or open Listings. With the filters you choose the category, make, model, year, mileage, price and distance. You can also sort, for example by price or year.
Go to the listings →Yes. Enter your town in the filters (or use your device's location) and choose 'within 10, 25, 50 or 100 km'. You can also sort by distance. We only store the place name, never your exact location.
Mopeds (including scooters and low-speed mopeds), Motorcycles, Parts, Accessories and Projects / Restoration.
View the categories →Listings that have been online for less than 3 days get the New label. That way you can see at a glance what has just been added.
Click the heart on a listing. You will find your favourites at the top under Favourites. You need an account for this.
My favourites →Yes. On My account, add a saved search under 'I'm looking for…', for example 'Kreidler Florett, Mopeds, up to € 1,500'. When a matching listing appears, you will see it straight away in your notifications.
On My account you can see the last listings you opened, so you can easily find them again. This is only stored in your own browser, not with us.
On a listing, click 'Contact seller'. You then send a message through the site; your email address stays hidden. You need an account for this.
On a listing, click 'Share'. On your phone you can then choose, for example, WhatsApp or email; on a computer the link is copied.
Enter your town in the filters. Each listing then shows the distance in kilometres, including on the listing itself.
If the seller has turned on bidding, the listing shows a box with the highest bid. Enter your bid and click Bid. A new bid must be higher than the highest bid. The seller receives a message for every bid.
A bid is an invitation to talk further, not a purchase contract. Buyer and seller agree together on the price, collection and payment.
Under My bids you can see your bid and the highest bid for each listing, with a green light if you are the highest bidder and an orange light if you have been outbid. You can also see it in your notifications on My account.
My bids →Withdrawing a bid is not yet possible through the site. Let the seller know in a message that you are withdrawing your bid.
Turn on bidding when posting or editing your listing. Buyers will then see a bidding box on your listing.
Under My listings the highest bid is shown with a gavel icon. Click the number of bidders to see each bidder's bid, with a button to send that bidder a message straight away. You will also see new bids in your notifications.
Posting a listing is currently free.
Click 'Place an ad' at the top. In a few steps you choose the category, fill in the details and the price, and add photos. You can also save a draft along the way.
Up to 10 photos per listing, each up to 15 MB. We resize them automatically so they load quickly. Landscape photos in daylight work best. The first photo is the main photo; you can change the order.
Use your own sharp photos from different angles. Put the make and model in the title. Describe the condition, maintenance and any defects honestly, and fill in the year, mileage and engine size. A realistic price helps you sell quickly.
We review every listing before it goes online. That keeps the site reliable and free of fake listings. You can see the status under My listings.
Yes. While posting you can save a draft and finish it later via My listings. A draft is not visible to others.
Yes, but then state clearly in the title and description that there are no papers, and that the vehicle is, for example, only suitable for parts or restoration.
Stolen vehicles or parts, vehicles with a false or ground-off frame number, items that have nothing to do with two-wheelers, and anything that is prohibited by law. Advertising and contact details in the listing are not allowed either.
Terms and conditions →A listing stays online for 30 days. Under My listings a small clock shows how many days it has left.
In the last 7 days, or once it has expired, the Extend button appears under My listings. Your listing will then be online for another 30 days. You will also see it in your notifications when your listing is about to expire.
Go to My listings and click Edit. Changes to an approved listing go online immediately.
Under My listings and in your notifications you can see exactly what you need to change. Edit the listing and submit it again; we will then review it again.
Yes. Under My listings you can pause a listing and turn it back on later, for example when you are on holiday.
Go to My listings and click Delete. The listing and the photos are then permanently erased.
Under My listings each listing shows an eye with the number of times it has been viewed. Your own visits are not counted.
Delete the listing, or pause it if you might want to post it again later. That way you won't get any more messages about something that has already gone.
No. Buyers and sellers talk through messages on the site. Your email address and phone number stay hidden, unless you share them yourself.
Yes, up to 5 photos at a time using the camera button next to the message box. Only you and the other person can see them.
One tick means your message has been sent. Two orange ticks mean the other person has read your message.
Open the conversation, click the three dots at the top right and choose Block user. You can then no longer send each other messages, and they can no longer bid on your listings. You can unblock them via the same menu or under My account → Privacy.
In a conversation, the three dots show you a profile card of the other person: since when they have been a member, whether their email address is confirmed, whether they are verified, how many listings they have online, when they were last active and what is in their garage.
Via the form on the contact page, or by email to info@debromfietsbeurs.nl. We usually reply within a few working days.
Go to the contact page →Be alert if someone asks you to pay in advance, sends a link to 'receive the money' or 'verify your account', puts you under pressure, or asks a price that is too good to be true. Always inspect a vehicle yourself.
Tips for trading safely →On the listing, click 'Report this listing', choose a reason and add an explanation if you like. The seller does not see that you reported them.
Open the conversation with that user, click the three dots and choose Report user. Choose a reason and add an explanation if you like.
We look at every report. If necessary, we take a listing offline, ask the seller to change something, or take action against a user. With a report about a user, we may view the conversation to assess what happened.
A green 'Verified' light means we have checked that user's details. It says nothing about the condition of what they are selling, so always keep looking carefully yourself.
Compare the registration number and frame number on the vehicle with the registration certificate, and use the free registration check of the RDW (the Dutch vehicle authority). Is the frame number damaged, or won't the seller show it? Then don't buy.
Only what is needed to make the site work: your account details, your listings, messages, bids, garage, saved searches and favourites. We don't sell anything and don't use your data for advertising.
Privacy statement →Only strictly necessary cookies, to keep you logged in and to remember your chosen language. No advertising cookies and no tracking cookies.
Only you and the person you are talking to. The administrator can only view a conversation if it has been reported, in order to assess the report.
Ask it here. We will answer it, and if it is useful for others, it will appear on this page with the answer.
